Hi, I’m Boris 👋

I’ve spent 15+ years teaching software to deal with the real world — first the money kind (banks, telecoms), now the physical kind (factories and robots): compilers and DSLs for industrial machines, safety-critical toolchains, and Factory Execution Systems that connect the cloud to the shop floor. Based in Berlin, mostly writing Rust.

Off the keyboard, family comes first, then surfing whenever there’s a wave, chess when there isn’t, and Quake Live when I need something faster than both.
